San Diego, CA (March 17th, 2021) – Round 2 of the IMSA Prototype Challenge Championship featured 17 LMP3-1 class cars competing for top spot around the birthplace of American endurance racing, Sebring International Raceway. The weekend included two practice sessions, a qualifying session, and 1 hour 45-minute race around the legendary 3.74-mile road course, known for its bumpy surface and high commitment corners.

(July 16th, 2020) – After a 6-month break from the season opener at Daytona International Speedway, Dakota Dickerson is excited to get back behind the wheel of his #54 MLT Motorsports Ligier JSP3. Round 2 of the IMSA Prototype Challenge Season will be held at Sebring International Raceway and hosts 13 LMP3 racecars. Dickerson and MLT Motorsports are coming off a podium finish and are ready to carry that success onto the bumpy 3.7-mile road course.
Daytona Beach, FL. (January 7th, 2019) – Dakota Dickerson and his new teammate, Dean Baker, scored a podium after a hard fought battle in tricky conditions during the season opener of the IMSA Prototype Challenge Championship during the IMSA Roar Before the Rolex 24.
Daytona International Speedway is known for being the host to a wide variety of events including the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona and the Daytona 500, so what better way to kick off the year than at the IMSA Roar Before the Rolex 24 at this venue. The first event of the year always yields fantastic racing, and for the teams, is the first time they get to see all their hard work get put into motion. It was a short off-season for the MLT Motorsports team. Coming off a harsh end to 2019, the team and Dickerson were more determined than ever to secure a quality result in their #54 Ligier JSP3.

For the past several years, Dakota Dickerson has used his racing platform to raise awareness for two charities he supports which couple his strong respect for our nation’s veterans as well as his love for animals. This past month, the California native focused his attention on Nowzad, a rescue and training organization based in Afghanistan but with worldwide impact. Setting a goal of $1000, Dickerson proposed to race the final event of the F3 Americas Championship series with the name of each donor’s furry loved one on his championship winning Ligier JS F3 powered by Honda. Within 5 hours of posting the “Paws on a Race Car” fundraiser to Facebook, this goal was achieved! People from around the world donated and the excitement grew heading into the finale at Sebring International Raceway.
Sebring, FLA (September 16, 2019) – This past weekend, Dakota Dickerson’s goal was to finish the season strong during the final rounds of the F3 Americas Championship powered by Honda at the historic Sebring International Raceway. Dickerson recorded 2 podiums and a 5th place finish, with the highlight of his weekend being officially crowned 2019 F3 Americas Champion.
Dakota Dickerson was presented with the Champion’s trophy during the year-end awards gala last night, in Sebring. The young American was all smiles when he received his prizes totaling $100,000 for winning the F3 Americas Championship.
Elkhart Lake, WI (August 25, 2019) – Dakota Dickerson is one of those drivers who never lets anything get to him. He keeps his head up and charges forward all the time. Talent, combined with perseverance and a great attitude, is what champions are made of.
This weekend, Dakota Dickerson clinched the Championship during Rounds 12 & 13 of the F3 Americas Championship powered by Honda at the fabulous 4.1-1mile Road America circuit. One could say it was a repeat performance of last year, when he won the F4 US Championship with several races left in the season. And, he admits that winning back-to-back Championships feels pretty fantastic.
