Dakota Dickerson of San Diego approached the Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda mid-season event with one goal-- to win-- and after 11 combined second and third place finishes, the DC Autosport with Cape Motorsports pilot finally put a tally in the win column.
LEXINGTON, OHIO (June 28, 2018) – Dakota Dickerson Racing announced today the addition of Stress Engineering Services Inc., Houston, Texas, as a new sponsor for its 2018 F4 U.S. Championship program. Dickerson is well aware that none of this would have happened without the precious help of one of his present supporters Roxanna Balden Anslyn (@Roxbalden) of RoxBalden LLC domiciled in Austin, Texas.
The high costs of the racing dream have bit one of America’s top prospects as Dakota Dickerson is not currently in a position to continue his USF2000 program.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Today’s Round 6 of the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda, the USF2000 Grand Prix of Indianapolis Presented by Royal Purple Supporting the Lupus Foundation, saw a tough break for Newman Wachs Racing. The day started off well with the updated official results from yesterday’s race moving Dakota Dickerson up one position (to fourth), due to two cars being disqualified after the race last night.
The start of today’s race seemed like a carbon copy of yesterday, as three cars made contact in Turn One as soon as the green flag flew. This brought out a full-course caution, and by then, Dickerson had gained three spots moving him up to fourth.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Newman Wachs Racing headquarters is just a few hours from Indianapolis, so the team considers this race to be sort of a local race. Hence even the overcast skies at the beginning of the weekend could dampen the team’s enthusiasm of being at the beautiful an historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The weekend got off to a very good start with driver Dakota Dickerson scoring the second-fastest time in yesterday’s first test session of the day. And on the very last lap of this morning’s qualifying session, Dickerson clinched fifth position for today’s Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda race on the 14-turn Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.
